What is SEO?

SEO, or Search Engine Optimization is a form of online marketing. It does deal with the basics of marketing and sales, but it's focused on the internet, and is limited by the inherent restrictions, and capabilities, of the internet.

Search engine optimization, also known as search engine marketing, is the process of making a web site, and its content, highly relevant for both search engines and human searchers, also known as visitors. Successful search marketing helps a site gain top positioning for relevant words and phrases - and by sheer nature, make a website more user friendly, thus more effective. 

It sounds like I've worked with SEO in the past. Yes, I have. It's rather enjoyable. In effect, it takes something that already exists and makes it better. We all like better; and just about everything can be made better.
