HDSLR Videography

Still Motion Video

HDSLR Videography
A picture speaks a thousand words. Hollywood uses 24 pictures (frames) per second. With an HDSLR, you get that, for so much less than a Hollywood production.

Picture this: we are focusing on the frosting of a birthday cake with everything else blurred. You see the the color, the texture, you can almost taste it. Then we smoothly shift focus to the 5 year old blowing out the candles. That's a good story. Your special moments like birthdays, weddings, and graduations deserve that touch. Just the same, it is imperative that your business convey a great story as well.

I'm here to help with both.

What is HDSLR Videography?

A digital single-lens reflex camera (digital SLR or DSLR) is a digital camera that uses a mechanical mirror system and pentaprism to direct light from the lens to an optical viewfinder on the back of the camera. The term DSLR generally refers to cameras that resemble 35 mm format cameras. 35 mm cameras are capable of snapping 3-10 pictures per second. HDSLR camera 'snap' up to 60 frames per second, then a computer chip joins them into one continuous movie file. Add sound, and you've got a photo camera that is using up to 60 photos per second to create video.

The Canon 5D Mark II is the same camera that George Lucas (creator of Star Wars) just reviewed as a tool for his next movies. He was blown away by the quality and you are guaranteed to love it. YouTube has hit the main stream, everything from funny cat videos to commercials to tutorials, to family events. You and your business need a video presence online. It's cheap, fast and effective. Combine a great camera, with the proper lens, a stellar story line, exceptional editing, and you've got a video, be it a product or memoir, that will last a life time. Ready to talk about options?
