Innovation for the masses. Always?

There is a Thailandese non-profit, Border Green Energy Team, working along the Mynamar-Burma border bringing solar and micro-hydro energy to schools and communities with little or no access to grid power. Simplistic technology, compared to some of the solutions we have here in the US.

So why is it that when some of us think about innovation, we think about how to better what we have here, in the modern world?

Use Storytelling as a Leadership Tool

…companies teach storytelling skills to their executives (because they certainly aren’t learning it in business school).

Alas, Business Schools do not teach delivery. It’s not acting, it’s delivery. Consider the difference between a Used Car Salesman and a University Professor – each deliver their message, both are selling something… but, why 2 different approaches?
